We are pleased to announce that that Thomas Fellger, Investor and President of Veritas Entertainment GmbH, and Danny Yamin, former Microsoft Vice President in Greater China, have joined Anzu.io’s advisory board. Fellger and Yamin bring with them a stellar history of corporate success that will benefit Anzu’s growth as we look to scale our current offerings and expand further in the U.S. The appointment of the advisory board comes on the heels of the company’s Series A funding of $6.5 million, led by Bitkraft Esports Ventures, and backed by WPP and Axel Springer Digital Ventures.
Thomas Fellger
Fellger, a well-known serial founder of several enterprises in the digital business, is an Investor and President at Veritas Entertainment, where his efforts are focused on building the biggest gaming and esports venues worldwide. He has won several innovation awards and has an illustrated history of working in various sectors as well as a consultant to the UN.
Danny Yamin
Yamin joined Microsoft 16 years ago and has been a key figure in developing and strengthening the company’s footprint in Israel. In his most recent capacity as the VP of Microsoft in Greater China, he was responsible for the Enterprise and Partners Business in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Danny was named as one of the top 10 most influential people in the Israeli high-tech world by Globes, a leading financial daily newspaper in Israel.
“Danny and Thomas bring to the table many years of experience and dedication in driving market innovation, which will be key in giving Anzu a new impetus as we continue to develop cutting-edge ad technologies to revolutionize video gaming with scalable in-game advertising. I imagine a future of possibilities for in-game advertising and having them as part of this journey will help us realize our vision faster,” said Benedy, Anzu’s co-founder and CEO.
“We are already witnessing a new world order for video gaming and esports and I am excited to join hands with a fast-growing startup like Anzu. I am impressed with the company’s vision and the technological innovations they are bringing to the industry with their brilliant team and the sophisticated product offering. I look forward to not only witnessing the growth of this industry but also being part of the popularization of gaming and in-game advertising,” said Thomas Fellger.
Danny Yamin also added, “I have been working with Anzu’s team since its inception and it is very exciting to be part of its next phase of their growth story, with WPP, Bitktraft and Axel Springer as investors. I strongly believe that Anzu’s platform represents a turning point for the gaming industry and will impact how brands perceive advertising in the coming future. With a shared vision of technological excellence I am sure that we will create a new wide-scale economy for game developers, advertisers and users across the world.”
